Stay Motivated

If nothing drives you then there is no way to make things happen, motivation should be your drive at all time.  
However, staying motivated requires lots of consistent commitment.

Consider motivation as a tool that drives you to achieve more goals, motivation is what propels you daily, it serves as a support system even amid chaos.  

When things are so uncertain, at a point you must have exhausted all your ability and you are already at the point of saying hands up, motivation will make you try it again and get it right.

Motivation comes in two dimension,  positive and negative motivation, it is important to be able to mitigate between these two elements.


Positive motivation


To be positively motivated means, you have your strength channelled to projects and you know that this can only be achievable once you can push to the end.

Take, for instance, you engaged yourself in a marathon race, you know you can get to the finishing line once you stop in the middle of the race.

Usain Bolt will never come into a marathon, without motivation to be the winner.  Before the race, he has envisioned it in his mind, he has won the race positively.

Negative motivation


It is paramount that you know the thin line between success and failure, once you can Identify failure then you are ready to explore the motivation behind it. The motivation is by telling yourself that I know this is hard to accomplish, but I will not give up.

HOW TO BECOME MOTIVATED

GO GET A GOAL: Setting a goal helps you accomplish decisions in such a way that will propel you to get what you have set your mind on. A goal is a measuring tool that keeps you on track and gets you motivated.

INTERESTING GOAL

While choosing your goals, you must choose goals that keep you motivated, you choose what is good for you and not what people want for you. Because what people want for you might eventually wear you out and the focus will be lost.



PUBLIC GOALS

Well, most people believe in the conservative rules, a discrete lifestyle, yes this is ok. But in terms of goals, talk about your goals if you truly believe it’s a goal, tell someone about it.

By telling someone you are gradually planting that goal, directly or indirectly you have made a commitment, and you don’t want to fail in that intellectual discussion.
Write down your goals, look at it every day, smile at it, and tell yourself, I am getting it done.


FLOW CHART

For every step, you take in achieving your goals, you must take note of every stage. Know when you are having a difficult time, know when you are sailing smoothly. This progress measurement gives you the motivation to accomplish your goals.



UNLEASH YOUR FEAR

I can tell you that nothing is easy to do when you do not give it a trial. Even to sleep is not easy, if you don’t have a good sleeping pattern, you are doing more damages to yourself.


ANALYZE YOUR GOAL

Break down your goals and have it analyzed, just like a coin with two sides, the same thing applies to goals.
There is always the difficult aspect of it, and the easy part of it, so knowing how to handle these two phases keeps you motivated.


GIVE YOURSELF A TREAT

Whenever you complete a task, ensure to congratulate yourself, spoil yourself a bit, and keep the flame alive.

    This is my take out….
